Serena Mendizábal (she/her) is a young Cayuga Panamanian Wolf clan woman from the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory with a passion for self-determined community development, action, and futures. Serena is a community-based researcherand community organizer driven by Indigenous governance, impact/environment/health assessment and just clean energy futures. In this interview, Serena and Jenna explore themes of Indigenous climate justice, healing relationships with the lands and community, addressing systemic racism in society and colonial power dynamics, and more.
